UVPSPED administers three organizations. CEO develops relationships for the university, OTD manages OU technology transfer, and CCEW engages faculty, students, and alumni to grow and diversify our economy.

Staff Profiles

Daniel is the University Vice President for Strategic Planning and Economic Development. He directs the strategic planning of the University and manages economic development efforts for the University including the chair of OU's Center for the Creation of Economic Wealth (CCEW).

As Executive Director for the Corporate Engagement Office (CEO), Cameron is responsible for integrating Industry relationships across the University enterprise, growing relationships with Oklahoma economic development organizations, and executing a strategic plan for the University Research Campus (URC).

Managing the process of commercializing intellectual property originating from the Health Sciences Center is Dr. McMillen, Director for the Office of Technology Development.

Jim is Executive Director of the Office of Technology Development. He oversees commercialization of OU intellectual property on the Norman, HSC and Tulsa campuses.

As Assistant Director of the OTD, Dr. Garrett manages a portfolio of technologies created by faculty, students and staff at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

Regina is the Technology Transfer Administrator for the OTD. Regina reviews and tracks all intellectual property for the University, works on agreements and does all the federal reporting for OTD.

As Executive Director, Jeff Moore provides strategic and operational leadership to the Center for the Creation of Economic Wealth (CCEW) in its pursuit of economic development for Oklahoma.

Stephanie is the Budget Director for UVPSPED. Stephanie develops, maintains and monitors the annual budget and accounting procedures utilized in all departments under UVPSPED along with overseeing all aspects of Human Resources for the department.

Adam is the Marketing and PR Coordinator for Economic Development. He sets and guides the strategy for all communications, website, and public relations messages and is responsible for building external relationships with the organization's media constituencies.

Ruth Ann, Administrative Assistant for OTD, is often the first point of contact for faculty who have developed Intellectual Property or have questions regarding the disclosure process. Additionally, she manages administrative duties and supports the OTD staff.

MacKenzie is Director of Corporate Engagement for the University Research Campus (URC). He is responsible for corporate tenant relations at URC, developing relationships with prospective tenants and creating a sense of community.

As CCEW's Director of Programs, Val is in charge of overseeing the program's operations, as well as the planning, coordination, and execution of CCEW's strategic initiatives.
